In this video class we discuss one of the most paradoxical subjects: free will and God's omnipotence and providence, in relationship to understanding who initiated sending the twelve spies to the Land of Israel; God, Moses or the people. We also discuss the various approaches taken by commentators through the ages regarding the motives of the twelve spies.
