It’s a journey, just close your eyes

And step through a window in time
-
See there’s a slave inside every one of us that’s waiting

For the day that the fortress walls start shaking

And the taskmasters laugh as we start to dance

They put down their spears and start clearing a path
-
For the journey of return to our deepest potential

The reunification of our physical and mental

Peripheral and central, Spiritual and chemical,

Of course evolution is work, but we’re meant to
-
Enjoy the journey, and keep on learning

Like the planet on its axis, keep on re-turning

From our DNA to the Milky Way

Life is a spiral, that’s why we say
-
In every generation we need liberation

And we means me, my family, my nation

All of humanity, all of creation

We’re interconnected through each exhalation
-
Sound-waves created by the way that we say things

Reality is shaped by the statements we’re making

And we reap the results of our choice of words

When the spiral returns and our voice is heard
-
So please choose carefully, you who dare to be free

Cos the world ain’t always what it seems

If we look across the planet there’s an urgent need

I’m not exaggerating if I say emergency
-
For this season of freedom and deepest rebirth

We’re leaving our Egypt for life can emerge

True to the blueprint of the Universe

Which we write every time that we choose a word.
