One People: Loving and Remembering
On Yom HaZikaron, Jewish communities around the world will pause to remember those who have given their lives in defence of the State of Israel.
This year I add my voice to a powerful project called עם אחד- זוכרים ואוהבים / One People: Loving and Remembering which is helping to light a virtual candle in their memory.
The project will see Israelis and Jews from all walks of life, backgrounds, and communities come together to recite Tehillim, the Book of Psalms, 24,000 times, in memory of the IDF soldiers who have fallen in Israel’s wars.
This event, which will be the first of its kind, is a way to remember our fallen brothers and sisters and to express our pain and love as one Jewish people.
